The teen actors of ROXY Actor Studio present All in the Timing by David Ives, one of the most celebrated collections of contemporary one-act plays. This evening of comedy, wit, and imagination features six complete plays that explore chance encounters, language, love, luck, history, and the absurdities of being human.
From a first date that keeps resetting in Sure Thing, to chimpanzees racing to write Shakespeare in Words, Words, Words, to a revolutionary who refuses to die in Variations on the Death of Trotsky, Ives' inventive characters navigate a world where timing is everything.
Performed by students ages 13–17 following an intensive summer acting workshop, this production showcases the creativity, discipline, and talent of a new generation of theatre artists.
Featuring:
Sure Thing, Philip Glass Buys a Loaf of Bread, Words, Words, Words, The Universal Language, The Philadelphia, and Variations on the Death of Trotsky.
The theatre will be set up with cabaret-style seating at tables of four, creating an intimate performance experience. Seating is first come, first served.
